As mentioned in a previous rant blog we got one of our van’s windows smashed in Leamington. That was a dark night. For various reasons. There was too much free hospitality floating around and with a hotel a few hundred feet from the venue instead of the usual 34 miles to some sh*tbox services on some grim Motorway the band decided it would be an easy walk home. How wrong can you be. But that’s a different story.

Anyway, we woke up the next day and our window had been put through. We taped it up, then taped it up again, then as it was clinging on by it’s black-tinted fingernails we taped it some more. It made it to Belfast, just. Point of this is our Van is cold. Too cold. The heating works kinda, but for some reason (i.e the missing window) it’s still cold in the back.

We didnt just leave the window missing, with stephens latest haircut blowing in the wind, we covered it with stuff. You’d probably not even see the difference, but it lets in cold, cold air to a van that already let in cold, cold air. Ive lost the point again…SWITZERLAND! That’s the point.   We’ve just confirmed a couple of weeks in Europe supporting the mighty black box revelation. Now, i’ve seen Switzerland on TV and it looks cold. Colder than Belfast or Co.Derry. So, basically, give us a heater. We can get Darren Tour Manager Brown to hook it up to the engine.
