So yeah, this blog is late. 9 days late to be exact. The postman lost it. The Internet postman. He’s like the normal post man but made of metal. Not metal as in… *checks iTunes for some new metal bands* …Success Will Write Apocalypse Across The Sky (Seriously, check it on iTunes), but metal as in the stuff cars etc are built out of.
Anyway, he was busy oiling his nuts (and bolts) and so this blog is 9 days late. Right now team Fiasco are somewhere in England. Back under the grey sky’s of the UK, but when this was originally written Germany was home.
…well we played in Berlin, headline show, and it was class, for one there where people there and two they knew the songs. Its really weird playing shows in Germany and people turning up singing our songs back at us. Really wasnt expecting it at all.
it was a late show and the booze got the better of us so we went straight to the hotel and straight to bed…..rock and roll……:(
then we went to hamburg.
the sun was out, everyone had shook the hangover and team fiasco was feeling good – still shocked from the gig last night.
we played the molotow with black box revelation a month or so earlier to a full sold out room so knew this gig had alot to live up to.
but again it was crazy, even better than the night before, more people, more singing more good vibes.
we stayed in the hamburg in a really cool apartment owned by the venue with the wall paper mad up from gig posters.
up early again and off on the road.
last time we played germany we stopped at services and found this go karting place, it was amazing craic but no one could remember where it was……..and by some sort of fluke / miracle we stopped in the same services and more go karting was to be had.
darzo and edd cleaned up, with me, p, and leaky spinning out and competing for 3rd place
cologne was serious aswell, i couldn’t really believe how well recieved we where in germany, a real shock but a nice one.
.
off to antwerp for a day off, sun splitting the trees and everyone is in good spirits, not your typical gf tour usually some one has the grump but we seem to be shaking it, the million mile drives dont even seem to be bothering us, must be the sun.
day off was sweet – irish pub, football and us all blocked after 3pints
i did find out upsettingly enough that the best fit of tshirt for me is 12-14yr boy, so i got some new tee’s from h&m, decent print good fit, cheap as fook, on to a winner
